CYANURIC ACID: Also known as – Stabilizer / Isocyanuric acid. Purpose – sun screen over chlorine to reduce loss from suns UV

SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE: Also known as – Liquid Chlorine / Hypo. Purpose: water disinfectant.

• 12. Liquid Chlorine Sodium Hypochlorite

 

CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE: Also known as – Powdered Chlorine. Purpose: water disinfectant. Comes in two types: i) stabilized has cyanuric acid built in, or ii) unstablised which is regular chlorine without stabilisers added. Note: Can be formed as powder or tablets.
