Pool Party &/or Facility Hire

• Are required to provide 7 days’ notice.
• Are permitted to use facility freezer or fridge to store one cake only. Cake must be stored in fully sealed container. No other food or drinks will be stored by facility.
• The entity making the booking must supply all requirements, including; paper plates, ice, sunscreen, cutlery, serviettes and drink cups.
• Are not provided with dedicated pool space and are not permitted to assume control over any part of the pool. To remove any confusion; all event guests must share all facility assets with the public fairly.

• Will be allocated tables and chairs (number available will vary between facilities).

• Will be supplied with paper plates, sunscreen, cutlery, serviettes and paper cups.
• Confirmation numbers relating to food/ drink catering is required a minimum of 48hrs before the event
• All services and costs are to be identified on the Event Booking Form. These may include:

– Self-catering – BBQ use
– Facility Catering – hot and/ or cold food catering
– Use of pool inflatable/ water slide (not available at all sites)
– Exclusive designated pool play area
– Party Host
– Face painting and games
– Party lolly packs

• Minimum of 30minutes applies to all lane hire bookings.
• Lane hire is charged in 30minute increments only
• No half-lane hire

• A 50% deposit of the full amount or a $100 deposit (whichever is greater) is required no less than 7 days prior to the event. Balance of payment required prior to event start – on day of the event is ok.
• Cancellations with more than 48hrs notice are charged a $25 administration fee.
• Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice are charged a $75 administration fee.
• Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, via email and/or completion of Booking Amendment or Cancellation Form at the facility. Failure to do so will result in the full deposit fee being charged.

• All change requests must be made in writing, via email and/or completion of Booking Amendment or Cancellation Form at the facility. Changes are confirmed once authorised by the Facility.
• All change requests must be submitted no less than 48hrs before the event.
• Changes are not permitted on the day of booking.

• All signage, advertising and storage of equipment must be approved by Facility Manager.
• Community Aquatics is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to you and those in your care which arises from the use of privately owned equipment stored or used on Community Aquatics premises
• Community Aquatics is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to you and those in your care which arises from negligence of any person other than Community Aquatics employees, independent contractors or voluntary workers.
• Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times
• Babies, children and persons suffering incontinence and who ordinarily wear nappies must wear an aqua-nappy/swim wear that must have elasticised legs and waist
• No person shall teach, coach or train any person in the centre without prior consent from the Facility Manager
• A person must not pollute, deposit offensive matter or intentionally release bodily material or waste into the pool
• Children or adults with a recent history of diarrhoea or a gastro infection are not permitted in the swimming pool
• No alcohol or intoxicating drugs are permitted within the Community Aquatics facilities
• No glass containers or bottles are permitted within the Community Aquatics facilities
• No soap or detergents are permitted in the pools
• Smoking is not permitted within the centre
• A person cannot enter or use a slide, pool or splash pad if;1) suffering from a skin infection/communicable disease, 2) unclean conditions or 3) under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
• All persons entering a facility must abide by the specific facility Conditions of Entry and Facility Rules.
• All persons entering a facility must follow the directions given by Community Aquatic’s Staff.

• Children under the age of five years must always be accompanied by an adult while in any pool and remain within arm’s reach.
• Children under the age of ten years must be supervised by an appropriate parent or guardian
• Groups / Events will not be admitted where the number of parent/guardian’s supervising a group of children under five exceeds the ratio of 1:4
• Groups / Events will not be admitted where the number of parent/guardian’s supervising a group of children under ten exceeds the ratio of 1:10
